Monash Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (MIPS) has launched The Monash Quality of Medicines (QoM) Initiative, aimed at improving access to safe and effective medicines in low-and middle-income countries (LMICs). With the support of The Ripple Foundation, this initiative will address health inequity by tackling poor-quality and falsified medicines. By leveraging Monash’s expertise and global partnerships, the QoM Initiative will initially focus on improving maternal and newborn health essential medicines in sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, and the Asia-Pacific regions.
